Here I open the lecture series presided me to the next generation leaders of TEIN/Asi@Connect countries. The objectives are 1) to let the next-gen NM physicians/scientists take

the example of an expert who belong to the recently-developed country, Korea and 2) to freely use the concept, progress, interpretation of current practice, and prospect for the future of nuclear medicine science.

Unfortunate were the COVID-19 pandemic, n-th waves expected to sustain for long, the nuclear medicine in Asian countries were about to bud but challenged by the possible

isolation due to this disaster, and regardless of recent crisis, nuclear medicine of each country should have been taken care of the experts in that country, who are however

scarce. This was bootstrapping process, which is difficult. Small fortune out of huge adversity was that we just established TEIN-assisted online virtual communication system.

I and we think that Korea has successfully overcome the difficulty in this bootstrapping dilemma and are willing to share the experiences and strategies for promotion of nuclear medicine as clinical practice. Thus, we talk mainly about the sciences behind the clinical nuclear medicine. In addition to the professional nuclear medicine sciences which are

dealt with in TEIN summer or winter online virtual conferences/workshop. This lecture series will take care the clinical problems.

Please feel free to join and if possible, in interactive way, to improve your leadership in the next-generation Nuclear Medicine in your country and Asia and the World.

“Nuclear Medicine shall be practiced in every country by the experts of that country”
